Schemes :

1.Land Purchase Scheme

   The aim of the schemes is to improve the land holding of Schedule Castes and to enhance their socio economic status in the state. The Government have issued orders for the exemption of 100% stamp duty for the registration of the land purchased under the scheme.

Subsidy:

    Maximum 30% of the project cost or Rs.2.25 lakhs whichever is less may be released as subsidy to each family.  The cost of land should be fixed as per the Govt. guidelines. The subsidy released is Front End subsidy.

Eligibility

  • The Applicant shall be a Scheduled Caste Women.
  • The applicant should be in the age group of 18 -65.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1.00 lakh.
  • The Applicant should not own any agricultural land.
  • The occupation of the Applicant should be agriculture.
  • Applicants and their family members should not have availed any subsidy so far.

Conditions

  • Applicants themselves should select the land to be purchased.
  • The lands have to be purchased from the land owners who do not belong to Schedule Caste.
  • The land purchased shall be registered only in the name of applicant.
  • The land purchased shall not be sold out within twenty years.
  • The applicant who has the land registered in their name can alone take up land development activities.
  • The land development activities of digging of open well, bore well and electrification of pump sets shall be taken up as per the NABARD guidelines.
  • The feasibility certificate shall be obtained from geologist in respect of digging of open well / bore well.
  • The applicant and the family members should not have sold / transferred their lands to others in the last 5 years.

2.Land development Scheme

Subsidy:
Maximum 30% of the project cost or Rs.2.25 lakhs whichever is less may be released as subsidy to each family. The cost of land should be fixed as per the Govt. guidelines. The subsidy released is Front End subsidy..

3.Fast Track Power Supply (E.B. Deposit) Scheme.

The scheme is implemented to provision of EB connection for the SC/ST beneficiaries.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant should belong to SC/ST community.
  2. The applicant should not have received any monetary monthly assistance from any Government Schemes.
  3. The applicant should be the owner of the land with open well or Bore well in the land.
  4. Patta should be in the name of applicant

4. Entrepreneur Development Programme

Financial assistance is provided to individuals in the age group of 18 – 65 years for starting any income generating activity like establishment of shops, purchase of  Lorries, Tractors, Power Tillers, Tourist Cars, Mini-Lorries, Auto-Rickshaws, Mini-Dairy, Power Laundry, Tailoring and Chappal making etc.,

The Subsidy

  • 30% of the project cost or Rs.2.25 lakhs whichever is lower. The subsidy will be a Front End Subsidy

Eligibility

  • The applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1.00 lakh.
  • The applicant should be in the age group of 18 -65.
  • The applicant should have prior experience in the trade applied.
  • The Applicant and their family members should not have availed any subsidy so far.

Conditions

  • Applicants themselves can select the trade.
  • The assets created under the scheme shall be registered only in the name of the applicant.
  • The applicant shall carryout the business in the district where subsidy is sanctioned

5. Self Employment Programme for Youth (SEPY)

To encourage the young Siddha Doctors and Dentist to set up their profession, a financial assistance of Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 1,00,000 respectively is given as subsidy.

Youth in the age group of 18-45 are trained and escorted in obtaining financial assistance to commence ventures sustainable over a period of time.

The Subsidy

  • 30% of the project cost or Rs.2.25 lakhs whichever is lower. The subsidy will be a Front End Subsidy

 Eligibility

  • The applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1.00 lakh
  • The applicant should be in the age group of 18 -45.
  • The applicant should have prior experience in the trade applied.
  • The Applicant and their family members should not have availed any subsidy so far.
  • The applicant should posses’ eligibility certificate issued by recognised institutions.

Conditions

  • Applicants themselves can select the trade.
  • The assets created under the scheme shall be registered only in the name of the applicant.
  • The applicant shall carryout the business in the district where subsidy is sanctioned.

6. Setting up of CLINIC

  • Financial  Assistance to the young Doctors   for setting up to own a Clinic
  • Increase medical facilities in rural / semy urban areas

Eligibility

  • To establish clinic, the applicant should have MBBS/BSMS/BDS degree.
  • The applicant and their family members should not have availed any subsidy under TAHDCO schemes
  • The applicant should register his / her name in the Indian Medical Council

7.Revolving Fund and Economic Assistance to Self Help Groups

  • Revolving Fund assistance is given to Self Help Groups for internal lending among the group members.
  • The SHGs are provided with economic assistance for starting income generating activities.
  • Under this scheme Self help groups are eligible to get one time revolving fund and one time assistance for economic activity.

The Subsidy

  • 25,000/- per Self Help Group will be released as a Front End Subsidy for revolving fund.
  • 50% of the project cost or Rs.2.50 lakhs whichever is lower.  The subsidy will be a Front End Subsidy for economic assistance.

8.COLLECTORS’ DISCRETIONARY FUND

TAHDCO not only assist Income Generating Programmes / Economic development by providing of loan and subsidy but also support the youth in pursuit of higher aspiration and the uncovered under other assistance through 100% grant. A maximum of Rs.20,000/- is given per beneficiary as grant. Preference is given to diffently abled, destitude widows, indigent artists, unmarried women above 30 years of age and children with no parent / guardian.

9. TAHDCO Chairman’s Discretionary Fund

The Scheme is implemented a corpus of the disposal of the Managing Director to extend as an immediate relief. Preference is given to destitute widows, differently-abled, individuals affected with HIV, and Children with no parent and guardian and to those need for education (skill training) including the persons affected in communal clash.

Eligibility

  • The applicant should belong toSC/ST community.
  • The applicant should not have received any monetary monthly assistance from any Government Schemes.
  • Persons seeking assistance to continue education should furnish a bonafide certificate from the educational institution
