Description:

One of the objectives of the TN RIGHTS project under the Directorate for Welfare of Differently Abled is to provide comprehensive social care and rehabilitation service to Differently Abled Persons through One Stop Social Care Centre (OSC) being established at every sub division. In order to further make this service closer to Differently Abled Persons, the project would support procuring one fully equipped mobile outreach and therapy unit for every OSC.

The mobile therapy service vehicle would be fully equipped with diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and audiovisual system for assessment and therapy. These vehicles would provide direct care and support services, such as assessment and disability determination, therapeutic and counselling service along with awareness generation activities for the Differently Abled People.
